Since its founding, Dacapo has made numerous investments. In each case the original owners' motivation for selling the company was different: abandonment of a regional market, abandonment of the business domain in the context of a takeover, a need to inject new capital for market development, economic difficulties in combination with strategic and operational need for action.

Specific situations led in part to disinvestments being made: takeover bid by an international strategic investor in the course of market consolidation, return to sellers following successful restructuring. We didn’t pass on the investments to a financial investor in any of these cases. Also in this regard, the undertakings made to the sellers and employees of the company were fulfilled in every instance.
